«Александр Невский – славное имя России» - так назывался районный конкурс, посвященный 800 – летию со дня рождения князя Александра Невского.

Его участникам были предложены различные формы интеллектуально – познавательной игры. В конкурсе «Своя игра» юные знатоки истории должны были продемонстрировать знания биографии великого князя как полководца, дипломата, выдающегося государственного деятеля; ответить на вопросы кроссворда и головоломки «Новгородская земля в 13 веке», собрать правильно пословицы на военную тематику. В конкурсе «Изображения» среди других найти портрет Александра Невского, определить по карте место Ледового побоища и т.д. И, в заключение, составить синквейн по теме «Александр Невский». Все команды показали очень хорошие знания жизни великого человека, полководца, славного сына Земли русской Александра Невского. А лучшими оказались учащиеся МОУ СОШ имени А.В.Каляпина – 1 место, лицея № 2 - 2 место, МОУ СОШ № 6 – 3 место.
